State Duma deputy Kostenko proposed a unified system for detecting COVID-19 cases in schools

Parents of pupils turned to Kostenko and told about the ineffectiveness of security measures taken in educational institutions.

“At the federal level, a single algorithm for all regions has not been developed for the timely identification of patients with COVID-19 students, ensuring their isolation from healthy children, as well as (if the epidemiological threshold is exceeded) the transfer of a class or school to quarantine,” said the Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on tourism. She intends to transfer her initiative to combat the virus to the Deputy Prime Minister of Russia, the head of the operational headquarters Tatyana Golikova. In parliament, her proposal was received ambiguously.

So, according to a member of the Federation Council committee on social policy, pediatrician Vladimir Krugly, general rules for all schools will be useful.

His opponent, State Duma deputy, doctor Ayrat Farrakhov stressed that the standards are already uniform, and decisions in each subject are made depending on the situation. He considered additional instructions superfluous.

Earlier, Head of the Ministry of Education Sergei Kravtsov estimated the likelihood of introducing QR codes for school teachers. He explained that this issue is not being discussed. Also, he added, while the agenda does not include the question of not admitting schoolchildren unvaccinated from coronavirus to school.
