Deputy Director of the Lomonosov Moscow State University Medical Center, RAS Corresponding Member Simon Matskeplishvili said on Radio Russia that many deaths coronavirus could have been avoided if patients had consulted doctors on time.
According to him, if any person with signs of a respiratory infection is treated on time with safe and effective drugs, a large number of hospitalizations can be avoided and mortality reduced. He added that it is necessary to treat all patients with signs of a respiratory infection, regardless of the test result for COVID-19, as they often give a false negative result.
