The record-breaking basketball player dies at 32

Former basketball player of Nizhny Novgorod Stevan Elovac died after a stroke at 32 years. This was reported on the website of the Greek team.

According to the source, during the AEK training session on November 14, the forward lost consciousness and was taken to hospital. It is noted that he was engaged in an individual program, as he was recovering from an ankle injury. Last week, at the request of the athlete's family, Elovac was taken to Serbia, where he died in intensive care.

Elovac moved to AEK at the beginning of the 2021/2022 season. He is known in Russia for his performances for Nizhny Novgorod in the 2017/2018 season. The former team player holds the VTB League record for the number of points in one match – 49.

On November 27, the hockey player of the Russian junior national team Valentin Rodionov died while in the intensive care unit. He was admitted to the clinic with a traumatic brain injury. Rodionov fell ill during the Moscow Open Championship match against CSKA. After hitting the side, he returned to the bench and lost consciousness.
