Russian football club Spartak may already change its head coach December 15th. It is reported by Metaratings.

Italian specialist Paolo Vanoli is to become the new head coach of the red and white. He is expected to arrive in Moscow on December 15 to sign a contract with Spartak.

The 49-year-old is known for his work at Antonio Conte's headquarters in the Italian national team, Chelsea and Inter. The former coach of Spartak Massimo Carrera, who also worked under Conte's leadership, had a similar experience.

Thus, the current head coach of the club, Portuguese Rui Vitoria, will have time to play two more matches before he leaves. On December 9, the red and white will have a Europa League match against Legia, and on December 13, a meeting within the Russian championship against Sochi.

After 17 rounds of the Russian Premier League (RPL), Spartak is in ninth place in the standings.
