“Miss Belarus” Goncharevich agrees to fly into space in 2023–2024 
Winner of the national beauty contest “Miss Belarus-2021” Daria Goncharevich wanted to fly into space. The girl said that she agreed to become the first Belarusian cosmonaut. The Sputnik Belarus Telegram channel announced the candidate for this role.
“I'm ready. It is very cool to look at our Earth from space, to feel all these moments of preparation and flight. This is very status, honorable and very prestigious, “Goncharevich said and noted that she is in excellent physical shape and has excellent health.
Earlier, the head of Roscosmos Dmitry Rogozin asked Belarus to send a girl-cosmonaut to prepare for flight into space. According to him, the fair sex is needed for “balance in the cosmonaut corps.”
He noted that the first flight of the Belarusian cosmonaut will take place in 2023–2024.
On November 4, at a meeting of the Supreme of the State Council of the Union State, President Vladimir Putin said that Russia could include a Belarusian cosmonaut in the crew of the International Space Station (ISS).
