Ministry of Transport: no restrictions on the use of personal transport are envisaged until 2035
According to the transport strategy of Russia until 2035, it is not intended to restrict the use of all types of transport, including personal cars. So they commented on the possibility of restrictions in the press service of the Ministry of Transport, reports TASS.
“The measures of the strategy are aimed at increasing the mobility and quality of life of citizens, the consistent development of all types of transport,” the department said.
They added that the strategy is important to improve the environmental friendliness of transport, and an increase in the share of public transport in cities.
The Ministry of Transport emphasized that the development of urban transport allows to improve the quality of the urban environment.
Earlier, the Ministry of Transport decided to refuse to check QR codes on vaccination of passengers on flights before buying tickets – the certificate will only be checked before check-in. Prior to this, Deputy Head of the Ministry of Transport Kirill Bogdanov said that verification of digital documents of aircraft passengers would be introduced in Russia no later than February.
