Independent public monitoring told about the upcoming elections in the regions

Municipal elections will be held in Russian regions on December 5

Experts of the Independent Public Monitoring talked about the elections that will be held on December 5 in the republics of Buryatia and Dagestan, the Amur, Kostroma, Tver, Irkutsk, Volgograd and Tomsk regions, as well as in the Trans-Baikal and Krasnodar regions.

Thus, six election campaigns will take place in Buryatia. Three self-nominated candidates and one representative of the United Russia party were registered in the elections for the head of the Kurumkansky region. By-elections to the local council of deputies will be held in the same district. Four candidates from the United Russia party and three self-nominated candidates are participating. Five self-nominated candidates and one candidate from the United Russia party are running for the post of head of the Mondy village.

Dagestan will host elections for the head of the Karlabkinsky village council. A self-nominated candidate and a candidate from the Fair Russia – For Truth party are running for the post.

Early elections for the head of Mankechur are scheduled in the Aleksandrovo-Zavodskoy district of the Trans-Baikal Territory. The ballots include the names of three self-nominated candidates.

In the Krasnodar Territory, two election campaigns are underway for early elections of the heads of the Yuzhnensky and Kuibyshevsky rural settlements. On voting day, 10 public observers from the Public Chamber of the Krasnodar Territory will be present at the polling stations.

Elections of deputies of the Verkhnezeysky Village Council will be held in the Zeysky District of the Amur Region. In the Volgograd region, elections will be held for the head of the Kruglovsky rural settlement. In the Irkutsk region, the by-election of deputies of the Aleksandrovsk Duma of the fourth convocation has been appointed. Two representatives from the United Russia party and three from the Liberal Democratic Party became candidates. There will also be elections for the heads of Lugovsky and Alkinsky. In the Kostroma region, elections for the head of Selishchensky will take place. By-elections of a deputy of the Assembly of Deputies of the Maksatikhinsky District will be held in the Tver region. Three candidates are taking part in them: a self-nominated candidate, a representative from the Liberal Democratic Party and the United Russia party. Three candidates are taking part in the elections for the head of Suiginsky in the Tomsk region: a self-nominated candidate and one candidate each from the Liberal Democratic Party and United Russia.
