Media: Tillerson Lavrov has warned about the impending White house announcement on Syria

U.S. Secretary of state Rex Tillerson discussed on Monday by telephone with Russian foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov Washington on training Syrian authorities in chemical attacks in the country. This was announced on Tuesday, the online publication Daily Beast, citing its sources in the administration of President Donald trump.

According to their information, the Secretary contacted his Russian counterpart a few hours before the publication of the relevant statements by the White house. As the newspaper notes, Tillerson told Lavrov that the United States allegedly recorded the preparation of Russia and Syria to conduct another chemical attack. The Secretary noted that the use of chemical weapons would have consequences, but did not say what, writes the Daily Beast. Lavrov, according to the source, said Tillerson that nothing will happen.

On Tuesday, the Russian foreign Ministry reported that the Russian Minister discussed in a telephone conversation with U.S. Secretary of state resolving the crisis in Syria and urged Washington not to allow provocations against the army of Syria, “leading the operation against terrorists”.

On Monday, the press Secretary of the White house Sean Spicer in a written statement said that the American government sees signs of a potential training of the authorities in Damascus to a new use of chemical weapons in Syria. The leadership of the Arab Republic denied these allegations.
