Poroshenko said that the question of the supply of U.S. lethal weapons yet
KYIV, 25 Jun — RIA Novosti. President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said that the question of U.S. supply to Ukraine lethal weapons is not yet underway, Kiev expects deliveries of defensive weapons.
“Moreover, during the meeting with the defense Minister, which was confirmed during a meeting in the White house position regarding the supply of defensive weapons will try to solve in the current fiscal year,” said Poroshenko in the air of the Ukrainian TV channel “Ukraine”.
He also said that he expects the visit of the Minister of defense in the next two to three months.
“With regard to defence agreements, we have almost agreed text. We for two to three months waiting for the visit of the Minister of defense in Ukraine, and during this visit, hopefully, agreements will be signed,” — said Poroshenko.
