Qatar gave a list of demands of the Arab countries
Kuwait handed Qatar a list of requirements for the resumption of relations, reports “al Jazeera” with reference to sources. The essence of the requirements is not reported.
Earlier a press-the Secretary of the U.S. Department of state Heather Nauert said that Washington hopes that these requirements will be “realistic and viable”.
In turn, the Qatari foreign Minister Mohammed bin Abdel Rahman al-Thani said that the talks should start only after the Arab countries would lift the blockade.
According to him, Qatar is ready to negotiate on all matters that are relevant to the policy of the cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (CCASG), which includes Qatar, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait and Oman. “Everything that is not connected with this body, we will not discuss — promised al-Thani. — No one has the right to interfere in my business. “Al-Jazeera” — the case of Qatar, our internal policy on regional issues — and also Qatar. 5 June Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Bahrain and the UAE announced the severance of diplomatic relations with Qatar. The representatives of these countries accused Doha of destabilizing the political situation in the Arab States, as well as in support of terrorist organizations. The boycott was later joined by Yemen, Libya, Maldives, Mauritius, Mauritania, Union of Comoros.
The government of Qatar, all deny the charges and call the isolation an infringement of its sovereignty.
