The Russians will light millions of candles in memory of the fallen in the great Patriotic war
MOSCOW, June 22. /TASS/. Memorable actions devoted to Day of memory and grief, will be held in all parts of the Russian Federation. Across the country will be lowered national flags, radio and TV channels are recommended to exclude from the program of entertainment and advertising.
“Watch of memory. Eternal flame” — the largest Russian event devoted to Day of memory and grief, traditionally starting on the night of 22 June in many cities of Russia.
In Moscow, the action is held for the 26th time. This year the ceremony of laying flowers to the Tomb of the Unknown soldier in the Alexander garden will begin at 3 o’clock in the morning. The venue will set points with an audio broadcast military songs and screens, which will be shown milita. At four o’clock in the morning the voice of Yuri Levitan announced the beginning of the war. After laying flowers, the participants of the “memory Watch” will honor the memory of victims minute of silence.
The first person
Russian President Vladimir Putin will take part in the ceremony of laying wreaths at the Tomb of the Unknown soldier in the Alexander garden in memory of the defenders of the Motherland who died in the battles against the Nazi invaders. This was reported by the press service of the Kremlin.

The road of courage
