The labour Ministry has submitted a schedule of weekends and holidays for 2018
MOSCOW, June 20. /TASS/. The Ministry of labour and social protection of the Russian Federation tabled a schedule of weekends and holidays for 2018, according to which, in particular, provides for a two-day working week after the first may holidays.
The draft resolution of the government of the Russian Federation developed by the Ministry, published on the Federal portal of projects of normative acts regulation.gov.ru.
“Offers weekend 6th and 7th of January (Saturday and Sunday), coinciding with non-working holidays, in accordance with part two of article 112 of the Code, to defer to the March 9 and may 2 respectively.
It is also proposed to transfer days off from Saturday April 28, Saturday 9 June and Saturday 29 Dec Monday 30 April, Monday 11 June and Monday 31 December, respectively”, — stated in the explanatory note to the draft resolution.
Thus, in 2018 planned the following days: from 30 December 2017 8 January 2018 — Christmas and new year holidays;.
from 23 to 25 Feb — the weekend in honor of defender of the Fatherland Day;.
from 8 to 11 March in honour of International women’s day;.
from 29 April to 2 may — in honor of the Holiday of spring and labour;.
May 9 — Victory Day;.
from 10 to 12 June — Day of Russia;.
from 3 to November 5 — the honor of the Day of national unity.
Also, during weeks that have the first may holidays, only working days will be may 3 and 4 (Thursday and Friday).
