The introduction of the single electronic register of acts of civil status, which at the Federal level will consolidate all the fragmented information about citizens, has been delayed. To change the order of the preparation of the unified state register of records of acts of civil status (ZAGS) of the Ministry of Finance proposes in the bill, released yesterday on the portal regulation.gov.ru.

The Agency also proposes to move the date of the transfer into electronic format of Assembly books of the Registrar. The Department believes that the deadline should be postponed from 31 December 2019 to 31 August 2020.
The Ministry of Finance also proposes to move for eight months of the beginning of the operation of the rules on the conduct of the unified register until 1 September 2018, and the process of optimization of procedures of rendering state services for registration of acts of civil status — 1 September 2020.
