The Ministry of defence will use the Kapustin Yar, Astrakhan region, instead of the rented landfill of Emba in Kazakhstan, said Deputy defense Minister Nikolai Pankov.
“The infrastructure we have been able to create on the territory of the Russian Federation is the Kapustin Yar”, – said Pankow in the state Duma during the ratification of the Protocol on the termination of the agreement between Russia and Kazakhstan on the lease of the Emba polygon.
He also noted that Kazakhstan does not Express a claim to the state land reserve of the landfill, according to him, Kazakhstan has a high rating.
