The Moscow city court reduced from 30 to 25 day term of administrative arrest of opposition leader Alexei Navalny, assigned for the organization inconsistent with the authorities shares in Tverskaya street on June 12. About it reports TASS.
Consider complaint policy judge Anna Seliverstova noted that the reason for the cancellation penalties are not available, but the claim to the term deserves attention. Originally scheduled for June 12 opposition rally was to be held in consistent with the authorities place on Sakharov Avenue (in the end there was held a sanctioned rally, which, according to the police, came to 1.8 thousand people). However, on the night of June 12, Navalny urged his supporters to go out on Tverskaya, a part of which has been blocked off and made pedestrian for holding of festive events dedicated to the Day of Russia. The politician himself was not involved in the demonstrations, he was arrested on leaving his home. The same day he was assigned to 30 days of administrative arrest.
