German band Scooter threatened with imprisonment because of a speech in Crimea, according to Bild.
The team invited to the festival in Balaklava, which is scheduled for August. According to the Deputy Prosecutor General of Ukraine Eugenia Enina, foreign nationals can visit the Crimea only with a special permission, and the entry and exit must be made through the points on the territory of mainland Ukraine.
Representatives of the Scooter told me that the band members want to get to the Crimea via Moscow.

For its part, Scooter’s Manager Jens Body said: “We didn’t know come here in a political conflict. Our music is not political, and we want to be apolitical. We go to Ukraine and Russia since 1995, and we have a lot of fans who are looking forward to the Scooter”.
However, the publication notes that in the tour list on the team site does not state the country where will take place the concert of the Crimean. As noted by the Body, this was done on purpose for the sake of “neutrality”.
According to the publication, the Scooter can break another Ukrainian law, according to which only the Ukrainian companies may organize concerts in the Crimea, and the performance of the German team organized by the Russian firm.
