“We can’t confirm or deny this information. Check this information, sent a request to the Consulate of the Russian Federation in the DPRK,” — said the Agency “Interfax” the first Secretary of the RF foreign Ministry representative in Vladivostok, Vladimir Konovalov.
He said that the mission had not yet confirming information from the North Korean side or relatives of the Russians.
Media Primorye, with reference to information Maritime rescue coordination centre reported that in the sea of Japan on June 14 filed a distress signal to the Russian yacht “Katalexa”. It allegedly seized a North Korean ship.
