Direct line with Vladimir Putin in 2017 will be the most high-tech, which allowed to attract more audience, including teenagers, said press Secretary of the President Dmitry Peskov on air “the First channel”.

“The current video line promises to be the most high-tech,” said Sands.

According to him, this time it substantially expanded platform through which citizens can ask the President a question.

“Actively involved in social networks, in fact, brought to perfection a mobile app that allows you to specify different forms of your questions. Therefore, it is high-tech, and, in fact, it drew even more audience, because so many young people and teenagers asking questions that is very interesting”, — said the press Secretary of the head of state.

Traditional television straight lines appeared during Putin’s first term. The first took place on 24 December 2001, the fourteenth was held on 14 April 2016. Last year the number of appeals to the President exceeded 2.3 million.

Fifteenth annual “Direct line with Vladimir Putin” will be held on Thursday on air of TV channels “the First” “Russia 1” “Russia 24”, radio stations “Mayak”, “Vesti FM” and “Radio of Russia”.
