NEW YORK, June 15. /TASS/. The European Union and the United States did not want to understand the background of the political crisis in Ukraine and supported the seizure of power in the country. This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin in an interview in the new film by American Director Oliver stone. Show the third part of this four-part documentary began on Wednesday on the cable channel Showtime.
Speaking about the protests in Ukraine in connection with the decision of former President Viktor Yanukovych to conduct additional assessments regarding the signing of the Association agreement with the EU, Putin said: “Yes, but with this, well, it all started. Our partners in Europe and the United States saddled this horse for the discontent of the people and instead find out what is really going on, they supported the coup”.
