As RIA Novosti reported, according to Piskareva, on this account, he wants to consult with experts, including well-known lawyers.
According to the Deputy, Europe is also sooner or later come to understanding that the ultimate punishment is life imprisonment and the death penalty.
According to him, it is necessary to give Russian courts the ability to impose the death sentence with a reprieve of their performances until the time when the political situation will change.
When joining the Council of Europe Russia has signed Protocol No. 6 to the Convention for the protection of human rights and fundamental freedoms banning the death penalty. The last execution was carried out in Russia in 1996.
