Putin reminded about the ownership of judo in response to the question about showering with gay

Vladimir Putin

Russian President Vladimir Putin admitted in an interview with the American Director Oliver stone that would prefer to avoid joint campaign in a shower with a gay. Excerpts from an interview published by Bloomberg.

“I would prefer not to go into the shower with him. Why provoke him?” laughing, he answered a question about what I would do, being in the same shower stall with a homosexual on a submarine.

“But you know, I’m a master of judo,” added the Russian President.

Putin refused to consider the discriminatory law banning gay propaganda among children passed in the summer of 2013. He also reminded the Director that in some Muslim countries, people of homosexual face the death penalty.

May 5, Putin at the meeting with the Commissioner for human rights Tatyana Moskalkova said that he would discuss with the Prosecutor General Yuri Chaika and interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev gay rights in the North Caucasus republics. The statement came after media publications about the persecution of homosexuals in Chechnya. The head of the Republic Ramzan Kadyrov has denied these reports and called them a provocation.

In September 2015, British singer Elton John said he wants to talk with the Russian President on the rights of sexual minorities. Then the artist played the Russian media, posing as Putin. Later, the President had a telephone conversation with the artist and expressed his willingness to meet with him. The meeting eventually did not take place.
