CHISINAU, 4 June — RIA Novosti. The activity of the Chisinau international airport was interrupted on Sunday by one hour because of the plane of the Romanian airline “Tarom”, which was rolled out at landing beyond the runway (WFP), told RIA Novosti the representative of the airport.
The airport was closed from 18.15 — 19.15 local time, reported at the airport.
“The activity of the Chisinau International airport was interrupted tonight for an hour because of the incident when the landing arrived from Bucharest the aircraft of the airline “Tarom”… a single passenger was injured as the result of a landing”, — told RIA Novosti the representative of the airport.
It clarifies that some flights were redirected to the alternate airport Otopeni (Bucharest).
Clarifies that “currently, the airport operates in normal mode”.
“More information about this incident is expected from the company “Tarom” and the competent authorities who are investigating the incident,” — said at the airport.
