USA has decided not to ban the transportation of laptops on flights from Europe

Moscow. May 30. INTERFAX.RU — the US Administration and the EU authorities agreed not to impose a ban on the transportation of portable computer equipment on the flights from Europe to the United States, said on Tuesday the American edition of Politico.
“The ban will not be introduced. Both sides agreed to conduct more talks on technical issues and try to work out a solution that would suit everyone”, — leads edition of the words of the representative of the European Commission, who is not named.
To this decision, the parties reached after talks on Tuesday between Minister of national security of the United States John Kelly and two members of the EU.
Earlier, the US administration announced plans to study the possibility of ban on the transportation of computer equipment on all international flights in the United States.
As reported in March in the US was banned all electronic devices, except mobile phones and medical devices, including e-books, tablets, laptops, photo and video cameras. The new rules have affected the flight of the ten international airports, including the airports of Cairo (Egypt), Amman (Jordan), Kuwait, Casablanca (Morocco), Doha (Qatar), Istanbul (Turkey) and Riyadh and Jeddah (Saudi Arabia) and Abu Dhabi and Dubai (UAE).
The Ministry of internal security of the United States noted that the decision was taken to enhance security during flights.
