The Russian military may be required to report on publications on the Internet
The bill is under public discussion, which is expected to be completed in June.
MOSCOW, may 31. /TASS/. The Ministry of defence of the Russian Federation has drafted amendments to the legislation according to which Russian military and foreign contractors may be required to provide to the authorized body information placed in the Internet in the public domain. This was reported on the official portal of normative legal acts.
The project involves “legal regulation of relations arising when placing soldiers or citizens (foreign nationals) entering military service under the contract, in the information-telecommunication network the Internet of their personal data and other information made available to the public”.
Group of interested persons called command structure, military units, organization of the armed forces, military police units, police stations.
The project is at the stage of public discussion, which is expected to be completed in June. The planned date for the introduction of a draft regulatory legal act in force January 2018.
