Moscow. May 31. INTERFAX.RU Businessman Alisher Usmanov in the lawsuit on protection of honor, dignity and business reputation have not asked to delete the video of opposition leader Alexei Navalny became the basis for the appeal to the court, and urged a policy not to mislead the public.
“In accordance with the claim of Alisher Usmanov and the decision of the court, the claim is satisfied, are subject to removal only fragments of this movie, as well as other Bulk materials and the FBC (Foundation against corruption) on Youtube and his own resources, which discredit the honor and dignity of Mr Usmanov”, — said the press service of the businessman, arrived in “Interfax”.
It stressed that in his lawsuit, the businessman did not require removal of the entire video from the Internet.
Earlier Wednesday, the Lublin court of Moscow fully satisfied the claim to the Bulk of Usmanov and BCF and ordered them to remove defamatory information and to publish a retraction within 10 days from the date the decision enters into force.
It notes that a retraction should be posted on the websites of the opposition and the FCO within three months.
Navalny said that the appeal against the decision of the district court and will not execute whatever the outcome of the case. He added that he did not intend to remove from the Internet a relevant video with the investigation. “It is completely excluded”, — he wrote on Twitter.
The businessman has addressed in regional court with the claim to Bulk and FBC April 12.
In his statement of claim, the businessman demanded from the defendants for monetary damages, but asked only to refute the information disseminated in the videos, and texts on the sites of the defendants which he claims were untrue.
In early March, the Fund of struggle against corruption, Navalny has published an investigation, which, in particular, it was alleged that the head of USM Holdings Alisher Usmanov handed over the mansion with a plot of land of over 4 hectares in the Odintsovo district of the Moscow region as a gift to the sotsgosproyekt Foundation, head of the Supervisory Board who is a classmate of Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev Ilya Eliseev.
Usmanov in interview to the newspaper “Vedomosti” reported that the transaction was an exchange of real estate. In response, Navalny called the allegations untrue.
In a press-service of the head of USM Holdings said that the statements of the Bulk of the abuse in the implementation of real estate transactions in Moscow are not true and must be proved in court.
