Moscow. May 30. INTERFAX.RU — One of versions of accident of plane An-26 in the Saratov region is associated with a possible malfunction of equipment, a criminal case on violation of rules of flights or preparation to them, reported the press service of the investigative Committee of Russia (TFR).
“According to investigators, today, today at 6:40 when landing on the airfield aviation training base of the Krasnodar city Balashov higher aviation school with a height of 200 meters fell to the ground the plane An-26. According to preliminary data, this could occur in connection with the failure of one engine”, — is spoken in the message of the press service, arrived on Tuesday to “Interfax”.
It is noted that on Board were a crew of four pilots and one trainee. “Latest from the received damages has died, the rest of the crew with various injuries, including severe, evacuated to a military hospital,” — said in a press release.
On the given fact criminal case under article 351 of the criminal code of Russian Federation (“Infringement of rules of flights or preparation for them”), added to the TFR.
As reported in the information Department of the Ministry of defense of the Russian Federation, as a result of incident one soldier was killed, the other five crew members were sent to the hospital. The military explained that upon landing at the airport “Balashov” An-26 made a hard landing and caught fire. At the scene, flew a special Commission of the defense Ministry.
