Cars are the most popular vehicle in the Russian army and used in all branches of the Armed forces of the Russian Federation. And in every military unit there are a number of cars of different classes. In the army’s total number surpasses the total number of all types of other equipment.
The total fleet of military vehicles in the armed forces is more than 410 thousand units. In recent years, about 90% of the fleet is for mounting different weapons and military equipment, about 10% is used as a means of towing a variety of weapon systems and for other purposes.
