MOSCOW, may 28. /TASS/. The death toll in Sri Lanka floods and landslides that hit the country due to heavy rains has risen to 146. This was reported by the AFP news Agency, citing the country’s authorities.

According to the Agency, 112 people remain missing and 500 thousand people were forced to leave their homes due to natural disasters.

Earlier it was reported 91 dead. Currently the country is conducting search and rescue operations involving security, local residents and military personnel. A large number of people still locked in their villages as a result of natural disasters.
