The head of Transbaikalian edge Natalya Zhdanova on Thursday to defend the government of the Russian Federation the draft comprehensive plan of socio-economic development of the Baikal region for the period up to 2030, developed on behalf of the President of the Russian Federation the government of the Zabaykalsky Krai jointly with the Ministry of economic development, told RIA Novosti in the press service of the head region.
Earlier it was reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed the Federal government up to 1 may 2017 to approve the comprehensive plan for socio-economic development of the Baikal region. The plan will run until 2030. The government of the region together with scientists, entrepreneurs and the General public worked to create a document.
“Natalia Zhdanova will protect the draft comprehensive plan of development of the Baikal region in Moscow on may 25. The Governor will participate in a meeting of the conciliation Committee to review the comprehensive plan of socio-economic development of the region in the government of the Russian Federation. The event will be held under the chairmanship of Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Kozak”, — said the press service.
According to authorities, at present, the project is submitted to the office of the government of the Russian Federation. Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev instructed Dmitry Kozak to carry out the coordination of the comprehensive plan with relevant Federal agencies.
