Medina expressed his condolences in connection with the death of Stalin’s grandson

The Minister of culture Vladimir Medinsky expressed his condolences in connection with death of the Director of the Central academic theatre of the Russian army, the grandson of Joseph Stalin, Alexander Bordosskogo. On Wednesday, may 24, according to the website of the Ministry of culture.

“Versatile talent, artistic taste and dedication have earned Alexander a high artistic authority, and most importantly — a sincere love of the audience. His performances on the stage native theatre of the Russian army enjoyed great success, consistently collecting crowded”, the telegram reads.

“I ask friends and colleagues Alexander Vasilyevich Bordosskogo accept my condolences. A good memory of him will forever remain in our hearts,” adds the Minister.

Burdonsky died at the age of 75 years earlier Wednesday.

The Director has staged such plays as “Vassa Zheleznova” by Maxim Gorky, “the Snow fell” Rodion Fedenev and “Orpheus descends into hell,” Thomas Williams. Burdonsky received the title of people’s artist of Russia in 1996.
