Donald Trump
The President of the United States Donald trump filed a request with the security chiefs in the country to publicly refute reports of alleged ties him and his entourage with Russia. On Monday, may 22, the newspaper reported The Washington Post.
According to the newspaper, in March the President sent a similar request to the Director of national intelligence Dan Kotsu and the head of the national security Agency (NSA) Michael Rogers. He asked them to release a statement in which it stated that evidence of a conspiracy surround trump during the presidential campaign of 2016 does not exist.
Citing unnamed sources, the paper argues that Coates and Rogers refused to comply with the request of the tramp, finding it “inappropriate.”
The publication notes that to enlist the support of Coates and Rogers trump decided the next day after the head of the Federal Bureau of investigation (FBI), James Comey declared the beginning of investigation about the relationship of the President with Russia and the alleged involvement of Moscow in the American elections.
Also the article States that trump was trying to figure out the heads of intelligence if they can put pressure on the Komi Republic, that he “closed the investigation”.
Moscow has repeatedly accused of meddling in the U.S. presidential election in 2016. Such statements, in particular, contained in the published in January, declassified part of the report, which was prepared by the CIA, FBI and NSA. It said that Russian leader Vladimir Putin personally instructed to arrange a campaign to discredit the democratic candidate Hillary Clinton and win trump. Russia denies all these charges.
