“United Russia” is not planning to support the initiative of the Deputy Vitaly Milonov, who proposed to introduce criminal liability for mages and healers. About IA REGNUM reported by the first Deputy head of the faction United Russia in the state Duma Andrey Isaev on Monday, may 22.
“While the bill in the State Duma did not arrive”, — Isayev said.
In addition, he noted that the expert Council of the faction did not consider either the document or the relevant idea. “As a rule, the bills not discussed at the meeting of the expert Council of the faction are not supported”, — said the MP.
That Milonov has proposed to establish criminal responsibility for illegal traditional medicine and the implementation of occult and magical activities, reported on 19 may.
It was assumed that the measure will affect those who engage in that activity without statutory permission, and inadvertently causing harm to human health or property damage in the large size. In this case, in his opinion, the offenders should be punished by imprisonment or forced labor for a term up to three years or a fine of up to 120 thousand rubles.
For the same acts which entailed by negligence human death or causing property damage in especially large size, it was envisaged to establish punishment in the form of forced labor for a term up to five years or imprisonment for the same term.
