Media: in the South of Libya, at least 60 people were killed in armed clashes
MOSCOW, may 19 — RIA Novosti. Armed clashes in southern Libya led to the deaths of at least 60 people, reports Reuters with reference to military and medical sources.
A representative of the so-called Libyan national army compounds which control the airbase in Marriage-al-Shati, said that the facility was attacked by militants from the rival factions.
Local doctors reported that the hospital delivered 60 bodies — both military and civilians. The brigade commander defending base, said that more than 80 victims.
In Libya now is diarchy in the East of the country in the city of Tobruk, sits a Parliament elected by people, and in the West in the capital Tripoli ruled formed with the support of the UN and Europe, the government of national consent headed by Fathom Barragem.
