Reuters: a car crashed into pedestrians on times square in new York

According to reports, the driver of the sedan dark cherry color was driving with exceeding the speed limit on times square and drove onto the sidewalk where pedestrians were standing.
According to eyewitnesses, which refers to Reuters, the driver was moving against traffic and intentionally drove onto the sidewalk.

As reported by the Fox News channel, the driver survived and taken into custody. The motives of his actions is not yet established.
According to CNN, which refers to informed sources, earlier this man had been arrested for driving while intoxicated.

Police cordoned off the scene. The incident was informed the US President Donald trump, and the Governor of the state of new York Andrew Cuomo went to the scene.
