Posner asked the authorities to explain the possibility of atheism without risk of violating the criminal code
Moscow. May 16. INTERFAX.RU Journalist Vladimir Pozner believes that the law on insulting the feelings of believers threaten atheists with the court and term.
Posner commented on its website a decision of Verkh-Isetsky court of Yekaterinburg sentenced to 3.5 years conditionally blogger Ruslan Sokolovsky, who caught the pokemon in the temple.

The journalist recalled that when the law on insulting the feelings of believers was adopted, many warned that it will be used for the persecution of opponents of the Church. According to him, this is what is happening now.

I have no doubt that still there are people who regret that this method of dealing with heresy is no longer applied, not going to name names, but it still attract at 248-th article of the criminal code for inciting hatred,” wrote Posner.

11 may Verkh-Isetskiy district court of Yekaterinburg sentenced Sokolowski to three years and six months imprisonment. The court found that his correction is possible without actual imprisonment.
Sokolowski was found guilty of nine counts of crimes under part 1 of article 282 (inciting hatred or enmity, and humiliation of human dignity) and the seven crimes under part 1 of article 148 (public actions expressing clear disrespect for society and committed to insult the religious feelings of believers) of the criminal code. The verdict also notes that the young man without permission, acquired a special technical tool — a pen with a built-in DVR, which was discovered in his apartment during the search, but was convicted of illicit trafficking of these funds (article 138.1).
The sentence Sokolovsky has caused a wide public resonance.
