Putin approved the strategy of economic security for the period up to 2030
The President instructed the government within three months to develop the necessary measures to implement the strategy and ensure their implementation.
MOSCOW, may 15 — RIA Novosti. The President of Russia Vladimir Putin approved the strategy of economic security for the period up to 2030, the decree published on the official portal of legal information.
“The government of the Russian Federation to develop a 3-month period of organisational, regulatory and methodological nature, necessary for the implementation of the strategy of economic security of the Russian Federation for the period up to 2030, and to ensure their implementation”, — the document says.
The strategy aims to prevent crises in the resource, industrial, scientific, technological and financial spheres, as well as to prevent a reduction in the quality of life of citizens. In addition, it provides for the improvement of the mechanism of the response in the event of Western sanctions.
Earlier it was reported that Russia has developed the economic security strategy as a response to new challenges and threats to national interests of the country. The document defines the main directions of state policy in this area and mechanisms to address key challenges.
