In Russia there is no reason for major changes in nation building. This view was expressed by the Chairman of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko in interview to the newspaper “arguments of the week”, published on Thursday, may 11.
“We have nothing like that and is convinced, not expected,” — said Matvienko. According to her, the need in global change arises only in the context of the global crisis.
Matviyenko also commented on the current reshuffle. “Everything is done, I repeat, deliberately, without haste, with preservation of stability. This is the most important condition for a steady movement forward,” she said.
In addition, she said, improved the Russian state, system of governance, preparing changes in the electoral law. “Maidan does not need Russia. What is really needed is further development of the dialogue between government and citizens, finding new sites,” — said the speaker of the Federation Council.
29 Mar Matvienko instructed the Committee of the upper house of the Parliament on constitutional legislation and state building, to prepare proposals for the creation of platforms for dialogue between the authorities and society. “We at the Federation Council, a Council for cooperation with civil society institutions. Obviously, this is not enough”, — she explained.
