PARIS, may 7. /Offset. TASS Arina Lebedev/. French police have opened a case on the fact of hacker attacks on the headquarters of the founder of the movement “On the March”, the candidate for the presidency of Emmanuel Macron.

This was reported by Agence France-Presse (AFP), citing a source familiar with the situation.

According to him, the case started in connection with “unauthorised access to the data processing system” and a “violation of the secrecy of correspondence”.

On Friday, the organization WikiLeaks has published about 9 GB of files pre-election headquarters of Macron. Later in the team of the leader of the movement “On the March” announced hacking attack, noting that along with the original documents in the Internet was posted the fake materials.

The national Commission for monitoring the elections of the President of France not recommended media to use these materials in publications. “We ask members of the press, and in particular their sites to inform about the content of those data, as the dissemination of false information falls under the violation of the law, namely the criminal”, — stated in the Commission communication on the Twitter page.

In turn, French President Francois Hollande said earlier that the hacking of the correspondence team of the presidential candidate of France, the founder of the movement “On the March” Emmanuel Macron hackers “will not remain unanswered”.
