According to the Minister of health of France Marisol, this law aims to combat eating disorders and the desire for unattainable ideals of beauty.
In addition, according to the law, from October 1 on all processed photos of the models in the media should be marked “retouched picture”.
Employers who violate the law could face a fine of 75 thousand euros and imprisonment of up to six months.
