When the number complaining of health exceeded 15 persons, the event organizers decided to call the ambulance.
Earlier it was reported that of the 500 children who were in the camp, with acute intestinal infection in the Republican clinical infectious diseases hospital were hospitalized 76 people, 66 of whom are minors. Medics identified the victims of rotavirus infection. Upon mass disease of children, investigators opened a criminal case.
“At the moment for medical assistance 90 participants, most of whom are children 14-16 years. 83 people, including 11 adults, hospitalized in the Republican clinical infectious diseases hospital where they receive necessary medical care”, — said the press service.
According to the authorities, in the camp round the clock duty doctors and officials from the government of Udmurtia. Healthy children routinely go home. It is noted that many students due to the incident urgently needed to change the tickets. Wednesday of camp is planning to send 60 children, while they will be accompanied by the representative of the municipality of Izhevsk, the group will provide preventive medication if they feel the symptoms of the infection.
“Currently, all patients at the infectious diseases hospital in satisfactory condition. By morning the condition of patients has improved. Positions in the hospital are reinforced by doctors and nurses. Three hotline received over 300 calls from parents for each query given. According to preliminary estimates, admitted to the hospital the children will be treated there until Friday,” — said the Agency representative of the press service of the head of the Udmurt Republic.
