The participants of the international motocross “Road to Victory — Berlin” club “Night wolves” are unable to enter the territory of Poland. On Monday, may 1, reported TASS the representative of the movement Evgeny Strogov.
He said that the Polish authorities “do not miss Russian motorcyclists on suspicion of involvement in an extremist organization”. The participants from the European offices of the club, as well as citizens of Belarus, were able to cross the border, and took part in the planned activities.
On 30 April the head of club Alexander “Surgeon” Zaldostanov said that in 2016 and 2015 Russian activists also obstructed on the way to Berlin, without passing into the territory of the European Union. This year he managed to cross the Polish border, said the Consulate General of Russia in Brest.
The rally “Roads of Victory to Berlin!” was launched on April 27 in Moscow and is scheduled to end may 9 in the German capital. Motorcycle convoy with flags of Victory through Minsk, Brest, Warsaw, Auschwitz, Prague, Dresden and other cities to Berlin, paying tribute to the memory and respect for the Soviet soldiers and officers who fought in the great Patriotic war. In addition to the Russian bikers, mileage involved motorcyclists from Belarus, Germany, Poland and Slovakia. Also plans to join them the Macedonian branch of the “Night wolves”. The event is held for the third year in a row.
In November 2016 Zaldostanov appealed to Vladimir Putin with a request to add to the coat of arms of the Russian Soviet symbols: the star of Victory and ears of corn.
