Italian cyclist of team Sky Gianni Moscone suspended for racist remarks against Kevin Reza from team FDJ during the race “Tour de Romandie”. This was reported on the website of Team Sky.
The suspension will be six weeks. 23-year-old Italian has apologized for his actions, Reza accepted the apology. Moscone received a written warning and will attend a course on multilingualism and cultural diversity.
“Gianni knows he has no excuses for his behavior and that repetition may result in the termination of his contract”, — reads the statement of the press service of the team.
Moscone stands for Team Sky in 2016. His highest result is the victory in the Arctic race of Norway in 2016.
