Teachers are suggested to make civil servants

Educators need to assign the status of civil servant. This opinion was expressed by the Deputy of the state Duma, member of the Committee on education and science Sergei Bozhenov. His words leads TASS on Thursday, April 6.

“The teacher needs to be a public servant,” — said Bozhenov at the Committee meeting. In his opinion, this would help solve the problem of low salaries of teachers.

Bozhenov stressed that it is impossible to tie a teacher’s salary to the economy of the region. “I to this question came back,” he concluded.

7 March of the Russian popular front (onf) published the results of a study according to which the low income of teachers recorded in Ingushetia, Dagestan, and the Republic of Mari El. So, in Ingushetia, the average is 13.4 thousand roubles, in Dagestan — 14.5 thousand rubles, in Mariy El — 14.6 thousand rubles. In turn the biggest salary of the teachers in the Chukotka Autonomous district. On average, they receive 57,6 thousand.

Last summer, Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev said that teaching is a calling, and energetic teacher will find an opportunity to earn.

March 1, Rosstat published data showing that last year the average salary of Federal officials amounted to 115,7 thousand rubles per month — this is four percent more than in 2015.
