All 449 deputies of the state Duma has provided information about income for 2016 within the statutory period, said the head of the parliamentary Commission on control over reliability of data on incomes, about property and obligations of property character of Natalia Polonskaya. Her words quoted by the press service of “United Russia” on Friday, March 31.
“A week before the deadline was not handed over more than half, but after a reminder of the Chairman of the State Duma colleagues gathered all the necessary documents presented,” she said.
According to Poklonski, the Declaration will be published on the website of the lower house of the Parliament within two weeks. She also reminded that by law the people’s representatives have another month to make adjustments to the documents provided.
Earlier Friday it was reported that Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev and his subordinates filed tax returns for the past year.
March 28, Poklonskaya said that the state Duma can discuss how to punish deputies for false information in income declarations. A week earlier, she threatened to take away the mandates of the deputies who will fail to submit a Declaration on time.
Officials and parliamentarians are obliged to declare information about their income, assets and major expenditures in 2013.
