Guardian: over the Irish sea missing helicopter

MOSCOW, March 30. /TASS/. Rescuers and coastguards in the UK are searching for a private helicopter Twin Squirrel, who on Wednesday flew from the English town of Milton Keynes to Dublin, and disappeared from radar screens over the Irish sea. On Board the aircraft were five people.

This was reported by the newspaper The Guardian.

The helicopters, carrying out searches, had to return to base due to deteriorating weather conditions, but rescue operation continues.

“The search, concentrated in the Irish sea and Snowdonia (a region in North Wales — approx. TASS), was carried out by two helicopters of a coast guard of great Britain, and rescue helicopters from bases in Caernarfon and St Athan”, — quotes the edition the statement of the Maritime safety Agency and coast guard.

It is noted that the operation from the air will not be possible until the region’s weather does not improve.

The Agency contact all vessels in the search area to request assistance in the operation.
