In Belarus, the continued detention of participants of illegal demonstrations
Moscow. March 26. INTERFAX.RU — IN Belarus, on Sunday continued detention of participants of illegal demonstrations, the correspondent of “Interfax”.
In Minsk on Sunday, several dozen people came to Kastrychnitskaya square to protest against the detentions, which occurred the day before — freedom Day.
The police first warned the audience about the illegality of their actions and asked to disperse, and then the arrests started. According to the Belarusian Association of journalists (BAJ), are among the detained blogger Roman Protasevich.
The detention took place not only in the square, but the approach to it.

Detentions are held in the regions. The BAJ informs that in Babruisk, was detained the editor of “Bobruisk courier” Anatoly sanotenko, journalists Andrei Shobin and Viktar Masalovich, in Orsha — the regional editor of the website orsha.eu Igor Kazmierczak.
On March 25 in Belarus celebrated the freedom Day — the 99th anniversary of the proclamation of Belarusian people’s Republic. In Minsk the action was not sanctioned by the authorities and ended with mass detentions.
