Nameless mountain in the Altai Republic was named after the energy company Gazprom. This was reported on the website of the Corporation.
It was named one of the peaks of the kurai ridge, the height of which exceeds 3341 meter. The appropriate certificate to the Chairman of the Board “Gazprom” Alexey Miller gave the head of the Altai Republic Alexander Berdnikov.
Kurai ridge has a length of about 140 kilometers, its maximum height of 3446 meters.
In 2016 one of the mountain peaks of the Himalayas was named in honor of the Ukrainian pilot, Verkhovna Rada Deputy Nadiya Savchenko.
