WSJ accused Moscow in advising the Bulgarian opposition in the elections

On the eve of last elections of the President of Bulgaria’s opposition socialist party has received from Moscow a 30-page road map with recommendations on the conduct of the campaign. On Friday, March 24, according to The Wall Street Journal, citing officials from the Bulgarian, the article leads portal MBnews.one.

According to the magazine, the document, in particular, contained suggestions to use as tools to manipulate public opinion, inflated in favor of the candidate survey data, and unreliable data of a different kind.

The recommendations were submitted to the headquarters of the Socialist party a retired General of the Russian foreign intelligence service (SVR) Leonid Reshetnikov, says the publication. He confirmed the fact of visit to Sofia, but has denied the information on transfer of any documents.

The official review of the administration of the President of Bulgaria the publication could not be obtained.
