Three fractions of the state Duma — “United Russia” “Fair Russia” and the Communist party — called on the leader of LDPR Vladimir Zhirinovsky to apologize for the harsh statements against colleagues. This was announced by the speaker of the lower house of Parliament, Vyacheslav Volodin, reports TASS on Wednesday, March 15.
“Representatives of all factions present in the chamber, made a proposal to Vladimir Zhirinovsky apologized for the incorrect statement,” said Chairman of the state Duma.
Volodin explained that we are talking about the “incorrectness made in terms of “executions” and “hangings””. “Everything else — the right of any politician: to evaluate, to Express their opinions. But rudeness should not be allowed to anyone”, — said the speaker.
Earlier Wednesday, at a plenary session of the state Duma Zhirinovsky said that candidates from his party in the Moscow region was under pressure. After a few sharp remarks in the address of representatives of “United Russia”, the politician promised that “will move into the Kremlin” and will be “shot and hanged” opponents.
After receiving a comment from the leadership of the lower house, the leader of the liberal democratic party led the representatives of his faction from the audience. Later it became known that the statements Zhirinovsky plans to consider the Duma Commission on ethics.
