In Moscow on 15 April will be the annual parade of trams. On Wednesday, March 15, reported online edition m24.ru with reference to the press service of the GUP “Mosgortrans”.
In Chistoprudny Boulevard you will see the 16 unique tram cars of different ages, including horse-drawn competition of the XIX century. Next to each item there will be actors in costumes of their respective eras. Guests can log on to the salons of old vehicles.
The exhibition will also show relsoochistitelnaya car, car-tower for maintenance of a contact network and a collection of vintage cars. Young guests will be able to make a model of a tram out of cardboard and paint it.
1 March, the national news service (NSN) announced that the Moscow city Duma established the Day of transport. The holiday will be celebrated in the capital on the second Saturday of July. On this day in Moscow will be held events dedicated to the drivers of different vehicles.
A new holiday is associated with the anniversary of the launch of trams — the first urban transport. Horse city railroad began to operate in the capital on 7 July 1872.
